Exciting Announcement

Pastoral Search

A very important update on the Transformation pastoral search process. The search process turned out to be quite extensive. The Pastoral Search Committee, made up of Randy Coates, Hannah Chun, Mary Kirkpatrick, Kaija Skalesky, Johnathan Wilson, Iassac Veurink and Gary Macsemchuk, met 8 times to go through the many resumes that were received via email. Twenty-four candidates applied from seven different countries, with the Pastoral Search Committee interviewing two promising candidates via zoom. After prayerful consideration the Search Committee then presented the names of two candidates to the Transformation board.

The Transformation Board then met 7 times, looked over all the information that was gathered, worked up interview questions and finally interviewed the two candidates for the position of Lead Pastor. One candidate was from Thunder Bay and the other candidate traveled from Eastern Ontario. After prayerful consideration of all the interview information, one candidate was invited by the board to present to the Transformation Members and Congregation.  On Sunday May 11th I was pleased to announce that Jeremy Darrow was the successful candidate and has been invited to make a presentation to you on Sunday May 25th! On that day an affirmation vote will take place after Jeremy speaks.

Blessings!

Gary Macsemchuk

Annual Business Meeting

May 25th, 2025

Join us on May 25th for our annual business meeting, immediately following the service. Everyone is welcome! This is a key event in the life of our church. Members will vote on a new pastor, a board member, and discuss the budget.

Be A Berean

The Lord's Prayer

Martin Luther and St. Augustine both called the Lord's Prayer the most wonderful part of the Bible.

“This, then, is how you should pray:

“‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.’

What makes this so significant and why?

Looking forward to praying this with you!

Caleb, Gene and Jeremy
