We are re-opening!
When you arrive at the church building our greeters will point you to the hand-sanitizer. We are asking everyone to sanitize their hands upon entry and to read the COVID-19 screening poster before going upstairs into the sanctuary. Here are a few details/instructions regarding this Sunday:
- Please sanitize your hands on your way in and out.
- Greeters have a list of those who are planning to come to the service and will keep track of who comes in the door. We are doing this so that if someone shows symptoms after having been in the building we can notify everyone who was in the room.
- Greeters will seat you in groups of families and social circles. Please maintain physical distancing from those whom you do not live with or are not a part of your social circle.
- Masks will become mandatory in Thunder Bay as of July 24. Therefore, next week, Sunday, July 26, masks will be mandatory in church.
- Free masks will be available upon entry
- Sadly, we will not be serving coffee or tea until the next phase, therefore our cafe will be closed. Feel free to bring a coffee or tea with you.
- There will be no childcare until the next phase of opening. This does not mean you cannot bring your children, however, if you do we ask that they sit with you during the service.
- We will not be passing the collection plate for our morning offering. If you have been giving online we want to thank you and encourage you to continue giving online. There will be a collection plate at the back of the room if you wish to give cash on your way in or out.
- We will continue to offer a Livestream service for those who are not comfortable to come and meet in person at this time.
We are living in strange times, but God is good, He is on the throne and we are excited to be able to gather together and worship Him!
