We will be joined by Adult and Teen Challenge, and we'll hear a testimony from one of the women in their program.

Afterward, we'll have hot dogs and some family friendly games. 

This is a great Sunday to invite a friend, no matter the age!

Transformation Men! We need your help!

On Saturday July 25 we’re having a men's breakfast followed by a work bee. There are lots of jobs needing to be done at the church.

During breakfast, we'll gather together for a time of fellowship and a spiritual word. Then, we'll put our faith in action by working to maintain, repair and improve the building that we've been given to meet in.

Even if you're not able to stay for the workday, please come. Ralph is organizing the men's breakfast, and he wants guys to come who like eating Finnish pancakes, eggs, and sausages.

Come for as little or as much time as you are able. We'd love to see you.

Last week, we were left with something good. We heard how God's goodness was displayed in all its glory as the earth was created, and with each creating act, God observed it and called it good.

God dwelled with his people. There was no shame.

Why then is there shame? Why is there guilt, fear, anger, hate, cruelty? Why does this exist across the globe, across the nation, in our city, and even in our own hearts? What happened to good?

Genesis 3 answers that question.

Go read it. Go find yourself in that story. Go find all of humankind in that story.

Notice God's question, "Where are you?" God has been continually calling out to humanity. His voice echoes down the corridors of time and through the halls of history.

We're often found hiding. We often try to find poor substitutes to cover up our nakedness, guilt, shame, fear, insecurity.

But God calls. Where are you?
