This is a different kind of sermon!
In this sermon, we talk about Jesus' interaction with Nathanael. Nathanael does not get mentioned in Scripture very many times...but he had an incredible encounter with Jesus.
Nathanael was skeptical about Jesus but agreed to go and meet him. Upon arrival, Jesus paid Nathanael a high compliment, and then He said, "I saw you under the fig tree." When Jesus said this, it rocked Nathanael...Nathanael responded by saying, "You are the Son of God!"
So why was this so significant? What had been happening under the fig tree??
