ClarityGod Speaks Clearly! Hey TC Family, As you know, Vicky and I have been prayerfully considering moving to the East Coast. We have invited you to join us on the journey. Thank you all for how supportive you have been both in prayer and emotional support. We are truly grateful for you all. This Sunday, I will tell the story of how we heard God so clearly regarding this decision. I believe it will encourage your faith to hear about how our God speaks so clearly today. Potluck This Sunday, following our service, we are going to enjoy each other's company with a church potluck! If you offered to come and help clean dishes before the service please come at 9 AM. If you didn't offer but would like to come and help, there is still room. We will be cleaning, setting up the room and prepping for the meal; we could use all the help we can get! Bring food to share. We are asking everyone who is able to bring food. If you are unable to bring food, you are still welcome to come, and we expect there to be plenty! If you bring food, mark your names on your dishes so that you get them back. We are also asking those who are willing to stay and help clean up afterwards. See you Sunday! Pastor Nathan

Be a Berean
When was the last time you heard God speak to you clearly? This week, take some time to read John 1:35-51. In this passage of Scripture, Jesus calls some of His disciples to follow Him. Focus specifically on Nathaniel's story (v.45-51). When Nathaniel approaches Jesus, Jesus pays him a high compliment, probably the highest compliment Jesus paid anyone during his earthly ministry. Jesus called Nathaniel "A man of complete integrity." Nathaniel had never met Jesus, so he asked Jesus how he knew that. Jesus' response rocked Nathaniel. Jesus told Nathaniel that he saw him under the fig tree. Once Jesus said that, Nathaniel responded and said, "You are the Son of God!" On the surface, this is a strange story. What's the big deal that Jesus saw Nathaniel under the fig tree? Obviously, there was something very significant about that fig tree for Nathaniel. Perhaps it was a place Nathaniel went to often that he didn't think anyone knew about. Perhaps while he was there, he poured his heart out to God, begged God to hear him, and begged God to answer. So, when Jesus told Nathaniel He had seen him under the fig tree, Nathaniel knew in that moment that God had seen him, heard him, and was answering him. He was shaken to the core. Take some time with that passage this weekend. As you do, think about the deep things in your heart that only God knows about. Talk to Him. Perhaps, like Nathaniel, you will hear Jesus as He reveals Himself to you. I can't wait to dive into this with you on Sunday! Pastor Nathan
