September is coming!
Hey TC Family, I wanted to send you an update from the East Coast. It was a long three-day drive to get here. Randall and Henry are not overly fond of being in their car seats for more than an hour, but we made it! Our family is having a great time here in New Brunswick, visiting grandparents, cousins, siblings, friends and the beach! We are grateful to be a part of a church that is supportive of us taking time to visit family. We look forward to coming home and settling back into Thunder Bay living. We will be back at TC for the first indoor service of the Fall on Sunday, September 3rd. New Series On September 3rd, we are launching a new teaching series called God Is_________. This will be a fun series since God is unexplainable, incomprehensible, and far beyond what our tiny brains can fathom! But, we are going to dig into Scripture to learn more about who He is and what it means for us to follow Him and become like Him. For those of you who want to track closely with this series and dig a bit deeper, I encourage you to buy the book, The Knowledge of the Holy, By A.W. Tozer. We will be using this book as a bit of a springboard for this series. You can click the link below, which will take you to an Amazon link for the book. Or you could type the book's title onto your browser and buy it somewhere else. The Next 2 Weeks I have been encouraged to hear about what God has been up to the last couple of weeks at TC while we have been away. I'm so grateful for how our worship teams lead us to worship God in community. Oghale and Merline shared their stories about what Jesus is up to in their lives. Jenny has been hard at work prepping our children's area. Both Randy and Jeremy preached powerful sermons that pointed to the hope of the Gospel of Jesus. God is up to stuff! This coming Sunday, Dave Janzen will be sharing his story, and Kaija Skalesky will be sharing the message. Next Sunday, for our last outdoor service and BBQ, Teen Challenge will lead the service and share stories of how Jesus is transforming lives.

God's Masterpiece
Below is a message I was asked to preach and record for Kingston Standard church in Kingston, Ontario. I decided also to address our church, TC. Kingson Standard church supports TC every month; they have done so for several years, ever since we were a church plant. The last couple of summers, their pastor asked me to record a sermon he could use while he was on vacation. Before leaving Thunder Bay, I asked Dave Janzen to help me record this sermon. We filmed it out on the Norwesters behind Mt. Mckay. At the time of recording, I knew the sermon would be published mid-August, halfway through our vacation, and I thought it would be an excellent opportunity to send it out to TC. So here it is; click the link below to watch it. I pray the Lord will use this message to encourage and speak to you through it. I love you, and am praying for you today and look forward to reuniting again in a few weeks! Pastor Nathan For more infomation visit:
